Today, the world’s atmosphere contains more than 410 parts per million of carbon dioxide, that is more than at any time in human history, and it’s causing climate change. This leads to extreme weather, natural disasters, and to pressure on food and water supplies around the world. Meanwhile, global numbers of fish, birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles have already declined by 60% since 1970. Recent generations have often had good intentions, but they've been too slow to reverse these trends. We, the younger generation, need to take action now, to protect and build our future!
